Flykan Tech releases PCIE-USB4-2C-M1 dual-port USB4 PCIe expansion card, available globally via Tittron. Flykan Tech, the R&D and manufacturing entity behind high-performance PCIe connectivity hardware, today announces the release of its new PCIE-USB4-2C-M1 expansion card. The product will be commercially available worldwide through Tittron, the company’s dedicated global sales and business division.

As the next-generation universal interconnect standard, USB4 relies on a unified fabric architecture that multiplexes multiple independent protocol streams over a single Type-C physical link. Many legacy and mid-tier desktop motherboards omit native USB4 host routing, preventing workstations and DIY builds from accessing the standard’s full tunneling capabilities. The PCIE-USB4-2C-M1 brings complete USB4 host functionality to existing desktops, delivering dual Type-C ports each supporting 40Gbps symmetric bidirectional bandwidth over dual 20Gbps lanes, built in compliance with USB4 specification.

The card implements core USB4 multi-protocol tunneling technology. Within the USB4 fabric, it encapsulates USB packets and PCIe transaction layer packets for transparent transmission across the USB4 link. This native PCIe tunneling enables external GPU (eGPU) deployment, granting peripheral devices direct memory access as if physically installed inside the host PC. For display workloads, the card supports USB4 DP tunneling via DP Alt Mode: the onboard mDP input accepts video signals from a discrete GPU, encapsulating native DisplayPort streams into USB4 tunneled packets to drive a single USB-C monitor. Connection manager logic automatically negotiates link training and protocol allocation between host and peripherals upon hot plug.

Backward interoperability is baked into the USB4 implementation. The card maintains compatibility with Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 and legacy USB peripherals, preserving support for existing accessories alongside modern USB4 devices. Differentiated from competing USB4 adapters, the PCIE-USB4-2C-M1 operates entirely on power drawn from the PCIe slot. The design omits PD power delivery circuitry entirely, eliminating auxiliary SATA or PCIe 6-pin power cables while removing risks of overloading motherboard PCIe traces. Both full-height and low-profile metal brackets ship in package for deployment in standard ATX and compact SFF chassis.

The card supports Windows 10, Windows 11 and Linux operating systems. It carries CE, RoHS and REACH compliance certifications, backed by a 12-month warranty. OEM and ODM customization options are available through the Tittron business team. Standard MOQ is 500 units with a 25-working-day lead time.
