Network IO Products

Wired network adapters, NICs and long-distance extenders.

Network IO covers wired Ethernet adapters and extenders: PCIe and USB network cards, multi-port NICs, and extenders that carry Ethernet, USB or serial signals beyond the 100 m limit of standard copper cabling.

These parts are used in control rooms, machine vision setups, POS and kiosk installations, and anywhere a device has to sit further from the switch than a normal cable allows. Multi-port NICs are also common in small servers, firewalls and recording appliances.

  • Gigabit, 2.5 Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapters for PCIe and USB
  • Single, dual and quad-port NICs for servers, firewalls and NVRs
  • Ethernet and USB extenders over Cat5e/6 or fibre, from 100 m to several kilometres
  • PoE-powered extenders where no mains outlet exists at the far end
  • Driver support for Windows, Linux and the hypervisors used in appliances

常见问题

How far can I extend a network connection?

Standard copper Ethernet is limited to 100 m per segment. Extenders in this category push that to roughly 150–300 m over Cat5e/6, or to several kilometres when fibre is used. Each product page states the exact reach at each data rate.

Can one extender carry USB and Ethernet at the same time?

Some extenders combine USB and Ethernet over a single Cat5e/6 cable, others carry only one signal. If a remote workstation needs keyboard, camera and network, choose a combined USB + Ethernet extender; the product description states what each model carries.

Do your multi-port NICs support link aggregation?

Yes on models that use standard chipsets supported by Windows, Linux and common hypervisors. Aggregation is configured in the operating system and the switch, not on the card; the download tab lists supported drivers and teaming options.
