Drivers & firmware
Most Tittron adapters are class-compliant or covered by the inbox drivers of Windows, macOS and Linux, so they work the moment you plug them in. Where a separate driver package or firmware tool is needed, it ships with the model and is published on its product page. If your model is not listed yet, send us the SKU and we will send the matching package together with the installation steps.
Find your model
Files are organised by product line. Open the line your model belongs to, then use the DOWNLOAD tab on the product page.
Missing a driver? Send us the model name or a photo of the label — we reply with the right package and installation steps, usually within one working day.

Driver questions
Do Tittron USB adapters need a driver?
Most do not. USB hubs, audio and video adapters follow the USB class specifications, and USB-to-serial adapters are recognised by the inbox drivers of Windows 10/11, macOS and Linux. Where a chipset vendor package is required, it is published in the DOWNLOAD tab of the product page.
Windows does not create a COM port for my USB-to-serial adapter
Try a different USB port and a data-capable cable first, then open Device Manager and look under Ports (COM & LPT) and Other devices. If the adapter shows a warning icon, install the driver from the product page and re-plug it. The port number can be reassigned in Device Manager → Port Settings → Advanced when your software expects a low COM number.
Are the drivers signed for Windows 11?
The driver packages we publish are signed. If Windows still blocks a package, check that you installed the build matching your system (32-bit or 64-bit) and send us the SKU if you need a WHQL-signed build for a managed rollout.
Can I use these adapters on macOS and Linux?
Yes. macOS exposes USB-to-serial adapters as /dev/cu.usbserial-* devices and Linux as /dev/ttyUSB*, both with inbox drivers. On recent macOS versions, grant the terminal or application access to removable devices when prompted.
Can you supply custom VID/PID and signed drivers for an OEM build?
Yes. For OEM and private-label runs we programme custom VID/PID, product strings and serial numbers and supply matching signed driver packages. Share your volume and target operating systems and we will quote the tooling.
Where do I find datasheets and certificates?
Every datasheet, printing template and certificate pack we have published is listed in the Datasheets & documents section on this page and in the DOWNLOAD tab of each product page. Ask us if you need a format that is not listed.
