The PCIE-USB4-2C-M1 PCIe expansion card addresses the common limitation of desktop motherboards lacking native USB4 connectivity, bringing dual USB4 Type‑C ports with up to 40Gbps bidirectional bandwidth to your existing desktop system. It works with high-performance external storage, Thunderbolt 4 peripherals, eGPU enclosures and USB-C monitors, letting you upgrade your desktop’s high-speed interface capability without the cost and complexity of a full motherboard replacement.
Engineered with a PCIe 4.0 x4 host interface, this card implements USB4 multi-protocol tunneling, supporting USB data tunneling and PCIe packet tunneling to facilitate large-volume raw media file transfers and external graphics rendering. It maintains backward compatibility with Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2, USB 2.0 and legacy USB devices for broad interoperability. Video output relies on DP Alt Mode; you must connect the supplied mDP cable from your discrete graphics card to this card to enable display signal transmission. This card supports data transfer, PCIe tunnel and single-display video output only. PD fast charging is not implemented. The card draws its operating power entirely from the PCIe slot, requiring no separate auxiliary power cable.
