Mixed-model consolidation — how to run one
Several product families, one purchase order, one shipment. This page is the operating manual for that service: the rules, the exact sequence from shortlist to delivery, and the manufacturing, certification, logistics and branding resources Tittron puts behind a consolidated order.
To purchasing teams, brand owners and distributors,
Tittron — the B2B division of FlykanTech — invites you to open the relationship the way most of our long-term partners did: with one consolidated order covering several product families at low per-model minimums. You do not have to commit to a single model at a volume that only makes sense once demand is proven, and you do not have to place five orders with five suppliers to find out which of them sell.
We make the first step deliberately small and the paperwork deliberately complete. One quotation covers every line, one production schedule governs the whole mix, one inspection report and one set of export documents accompany the shipment, under whichever Incoterm suits your market. If the first mix sells, the second one is simple; if it does not, you have learned it at the cost of 50 pieces per model rather than a container.
Send us the models you are considering — or simply the jobs they have to do. We will return a shortlist, the per-model minimums and a dated quotation you can take straight into your own planning.

What the service actually solves
A mixed-model consolidation order is the shortest route from “we are not sure what will sell” to a shelf or a channel listing. Instead of committing to one model at a volume that only makes sense for a mature product, you combine lines from different families — a docking station, a KVM switch, a converter, a MIDI interface, a GaN charger — into one purchase order, and they leave the factory in one shipment.
Because every family is engineered and built in the same plant by FlykanTech, consolidation happens at the source rather than by buying from three suppliers and re-packing in a third warehouse. One quotation, one production schedule, one inspection, one set of export documents.
The commercial point is risk. A first mix tells you which models your market actually pulls, while capital stays out of slow-moving stock. Second orders keep what sold and drop what did not — the per-model minimum does not rise because you reordered a narrower range.
How to run a mixed-model order, step by step
Typical first order: three to six models, 50–100 pieces each, quoted and shipped as one.
-
01
Shortlist across families
Send the models you are considering, or simply the jobs they have to do. We map them against the 33 categories and 259 models we build, point out anything that is about to be superseded, and return a shortlist with per-model minimums and lead times.
- Works from SKUs, from a product category, or from a plain description of the use case
- We flag models that share a production line — those consolidate fastest
- The shortlist comes back with minimums, lead time and unit price bands
-
02
Set the mix and the ratio
Decide how many units per model. Nothing in the order needs the same quantity: slow movers are deliberately kept small while the likely winner carries more weight.
- Typical first mix: three to six models, 50–100 pieces each
- We check the ratio against factory capacity and say where a small change cuts days off the schedule
- Unsure about a model? Start at the minimum and let the reorder decide
-
03
One quotation, one set of terms
You get a single quote covering every line: unit prices by volume band, branding or tooling costs if any, packaging, the Incoterm (EXW, FOB, DDU or DDP) and one consolidated freight figure.
- One commercial team from quotation to delivery — no per-supplier negotiation
- Prices quoted by band, so the next step up is visible before you commit
- Currency, payment terms and validity stated on the same page
-
04
Samples and artwork approval
Where branding is involved we produce printed or engraved samples and an artwork proof before the run starts. For unbranded mixes, evaluation units ship from stock.
- Artwork proof signed off before production — not after
- Silk-screening, laser engraving and labels from 50 pieces
- Retail box or blister artwork prepared in the same step if the mix is retail-bound
-
05
Consolidated production and inspection
All lines are built and packed in one plant, then inspected against the agreed AQL before they are combined into a single shipment. One inspection report covers the whole order instead of one per supplier.
- One production schedule for the entire mix
- AQL inspection with a single report and photo set
- Firmware version, VID/PID and default modes set before packing if customised
-
06
One shipment, one set of documents
Cartons are consolidated, carton marks and FBA labels applied if needed, and export documents, tracking and the commercial invoice issued together. You clear one arrival instead of five.
- Sea, air, rail or express under EXW, FOB, DDU or DDP
- Regional warehousing in the EU and US, FBA-ready labelling on request
- One tracking reference and one document pack for the whole order

The rules that make a mix work
Per-model minimums, not per-order minimums
Each model starts at 50–100 pieces instead of the thousands a single-model private label run would normally demand. That is what lets a first order cover five families without a five-thousand-piece commitment on any of them.
Any of our families can share the order
Docking stations, KVM switches, MIDI interfaces, capture devices, GaN chargers, converters, splitters and extenders — one purchase order covers all of them, because all of them are built in the same plant.
One freight calculation, one arrival
Cartons are combined before they leave the factory, so freight is quoted once on the total volume and weight. You receive one tracking reference and one document pack instead of a parcel per supplier.
Certification travels with the order
CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH and UKCA files are maintained per market. For private label lines, test reports can be issued in your name where the scheme allows, so the documents match the brand on the box.
Documents in your language
Manuals, quick start cards, datasheets and packing lists produced in your language, with drivers, firmware and certificates published and kept current for every model in the mix.
Three mixes we build most often
Test-the-range starter — 3 models × 50 pcs
One USB-C docking station, one KVM switch, one converter. Unbranded, stock finishes, EXW or FOB. The point is to learn what your channel actually orders before committing to volume.
Retail-ready private label — 4 models × 100 pcs
Your brand on the housing, the retail box and the manual, with CE, FCC and UKCA files prepared for the destination market. DDP to your EU or US warehouse, FBA carton marks if the stock goes to Amazon.
Installer / project bundle — 5–6 models
Picked by function: extenders, splitters, converters and a KVM, packed per room or per site with labelled cartons and shipped to the project address. One delivery to one site, not six parcels from six vendors.
Who this invitation is for
Distributors and wholesalers
Build a range without betting the season on one model: test five families in one shipment, then reorder the two that moved.
Brand owners and private label programmes
Validate the hardware in your market at 50–100 pieces per model before committing to the 500-piece minimum that private label branding carries.
Retailers and e-commerce sellers
One mix, one arrival, FBA-ready carton marks — the order can land in your warehouse or directly inside a fulfilment network.
System integrators and installers
Consolidate the extenders, splitters, converters and switches a project needs into one delivery, packed per room or per site.
The resources behind a consolidated order
These sit inside the same organisation — that is why a mix of five families can be quoted, built and shipped as one order.
One plant, every family
Engineering, tooling, SMT and final assembly sit in the same factory that FlykanTech runs, so a mix of docking, KVM, MIDI, capture and charging hardware is scheduled on one production plan. No broker layer between your order and the line that builds it.
Certification library
CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH and UKCA documentation maintained per market, with test reports that can be issued in your name for private label runs — the paperwork scales with the mix instead of blocking it.
Logistics and market access
Sea, air, rail and express under EXW, FOB, DDU or DDP, regional warehousing in the EU and US, and FBA-ready labelling. The order can land in your warehouse or directly inside a fulfilment network.
Packaging and printing in-house
Retail box, blister, bulk carton and e-commerce packaging engineered for transport, plus silk-screening and laser engraving from 50 pieces — done where the hardware is built, so branding never forces a volume you do not need.
Documentation and Cloud Disk
Manuals, quick start cards and datasheets in your language, with drivers, firmware and certificates published for every model — your support team and your customers read the same document set.
Channel and after-sales support
Two-year warranty with EU and US service centres, RMA handling, and co-branding or regional exclusivity programmes for distributors, retailers and brand owners scaling beyond the first mix.

What buyers ask before the first mix
Can I really mix different product families in one order?
Yes. Docking, KVM, MIDI, capture, charging, converters, splitters and extenders are all built by the same factory, so they can share one purchase order and one shipment. What cannot be shared is a production slot: the whole order moves on the slowest line, and we tell you which one that is before you confirm.
What is the smallest mix you accept?
Two models at their per-model minimum, typically 50–100 pieces each, with a combined order value around USD 3,000. Below that the freight and handling cost per unit stops making sense, and the quotation will show the exact figure for your mix.
Do all models have to ship at the same time?
No. Consolidation is the default and usually the cheapest option, but lines can be released separately if you need stock earlier. Each partial release adds a freight leg, so we price both ways before you choose.
Can I reorder only the models that sold?
That is the point of the service. Second orders can drop the models that did not move and keep the ones that did, at the same per-model minimum — no penalty for a narrower range.
Does private label work inside a consolidated order?
Yes, from 500 pieces per branded model, with the artwork proof approved before the run. Unbranded models can sit in the same shipment at their normal minimum, which is how most buyers test a brand before committing to the higher quantity.
How is freight calculated on a mix?
Once, on the consolidated volume and weight, after the cartons are combined at the factory. Freight appears as a single line in the quotation under the Incoterm you chose — EXW, FOB, DDU or DDP.
